California Sales Tax applies to all shipments within the State of California and the rate is determined by the shipping destination. All shipments shipped outside of California are not charged Sales Tax.

Shipping charges are determined by the weight of your order and the location to which it is shipping. 

If you select an expedited Air service, we will charge the appropriate Air shipping charges. 

If you are ordering items that total over $150.00 (exclusive of Sales Tax and shipping charges) we will pay the shipping charges for you, as long as we ship your order via UPS Ground Service. 

If your order is over $150.00 and you select an expedited Air shipping service, we will apply the appropriate Air shipping charges and then deduct the Ground shipping charges, so all you pay is the difference.

Please note that this applies to orders sent via UPS, not via the Post Office or FedEx.  If you desire your order to be shipped either by the Post Office or FedEx, you will be charged the full amount for shipping.  We can also ship collect on your shipping account (once the account is verified by the carrier).

Packages that are being shipped to a residential address will be charged an additional $1.95 - $2.30 per shipment (based on commercial vs. residential address). We have found that deliveries to business addresses are more reliable and the delivery companies now impose a residential delivery surcharge. We will ship to whatever address you wish and charge you accordingly.

NOTE: Time schedules for deliveries to businesses (not home businesses) are guaranteed by the delivery companies. Deliveries to residential addresses are not guaranteed. Please provide a business address whenever possible.

Orders over $150.00 (before any Sales Tax or shipping charges) will ship freight FREE within the Continental United States via UPS Ground (standard ground). Free shipping does not apply on delivery to AK, HI or PR or other countries for orders being shipped Priority Mail, Global Express, or any method other than standard ground service as listed above. For expedited shipping rates please email us for quote. If you choose to have your books shipped via the Post Office's Standard, Priority or Express Mail, you will be charged the full amount of the postage. Shipments via the Post Office do not quality for FREE freight.

Within five business days of purchase.

Outlines and other study aids:
Within two business days of purchase.

(In the case of mail and Internet orders, returns must be sent to us prepaid, and must be delivered to the Post Office or other carrier within these deadlines.)

Audio/Video tapes and or computer disks are not returnable under any circumstances if the seal is broken.

All items must be either delivered to us or returned to us post-paid and must be accompanied by the itemized receipt you were given at the time you made the purchase. New books must be in new, resalable condition, and must be returned within the deadline listed above.

We cannot refund shipping costs for books which were sent out by mail. All items for return are subject to a $1.00 restocking charge which will be deducted from any credit given. Items which do not meet all the above criteria will not be refunded.
